Children Train With Hansel and Gretal

Hansel and Gretal visited Leigh Park Community Centre and had a great time training the audience in sports and hiding in the trees. We always have a great time in East Dorset and heard loads about the arts week going on.

Big Goldilocks Visits Gosport

Big Goldilocks and her Big Book has a great time visiting Gosport Discovery Centre in June. We loved their special children's books floor complete with Mythical Maze decorations. Great fun with a visit to the sea.

Old McDonald and the Three Pigs Plus visit Primary School in Tring

Old McDonald and his farm visited Tring as preperation before visiting Three Foot Festival this year. Hamish managed to escape from the suitcase and you can see in the pictures below he made a lot of new friends. We huffed and puffed the wolf away from the houses and Old McDonald got back an arm. Loads of fun in our local area.

Alan In Wonderland Visits Karamel

Alan In Wonderland visited Fordingbridge Library this March to celebrate their library's birthday. Loads of cakes and laughs.



World Book Day Theatre Visits

This week, we celebrated World Book Day with loads of theatre in primary schools. We saw some great costumes for those celebrating by dressing up including Mr Tickle, a dictionary and even an appearance from the Wolf from Red Riding Hood. The Big Books had a great week out as well as the team who visited Castle Rising and got some great pictures!







Book In Danger Visits Hertfordshire Primary School

Book In Danger took its first outing to a primary school in Hertfordshire this February. We had a great time and so did the animals in the rainforest. Free the Trees.






Old McDonalds Farm Visits Aldershot

Old McDonald and his farm visited Aldershot Library, loads of fun on a Saturday morning.

Big Goldi @ Lauderdale House

Booster Cushion Theatre has been a long time visitor to Lauderdale House so it was great to be back with Big Goldi and the Three Bears Plus...

It was a lovely day so we walked around the great gardens around Lauderdale House and looked at the great artists exhibition inside! 

We did two shows in the morning rescuing animals, working as a team to chase away Goldilocks!

Red Riding Hood @ Manor Junior

Booster Cushion Theatre visited Manor Junior School with Little Red Riding Hood and Friends to help them with their curriculum about fairy tales! 

We did two shows for years 3-6 and had a wonderful time with a very lively audience who really fit into the Red Riding Hood theme with their red uniforms!

We had a great time in the very well read and red Manor Junior and hope to come back again.

Hansel and Gretal @ Chelmsford Theatre

Hansel and Gretal recently wandered from the woods and into Chelmsford Theatre. 

We had loads of fun learning about sports, working together, eating healthy and drawing witches and with the fully packed audience! We all watched as the witch does a high jump out the kitchen window.

Old McDonald @ Blackheath Halls

This year we visited Blackheath Halls with     
Old McDonald. We had a great time as well as celebrating the fact that it was our new Stagehand Rebecca's first show!

There was loads of great animal pretending and EIEIO singing from the audience. It was great seeing our number one fan Daisy and family as well.

Old McDonald @ Karamel

Booster Cushion Theatre were back at Karamel Restaurant to perform Old McDonald. 

We were performing in the Long Lounge at Karamel and had such a cosy time squishing everyone in! It was great seeing old and new faces as we were a part of Family Arts Festival this year.

Big Goldi @ Worksop

This December, Booster Cushion Theatre visited Sir Edmund Hillary in Worksop with Big Goldi.

We had a super seven bears scaring away Goldilocks and it was great seeing grandparents and parents who have seen Booster Cushion Theatre before and travelled further than we did that morning to see us!
